Moratine collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no network call of any kind. The app has no server to send anything to.

What the app stores

Every wait you record, every counterparty you name, and your settings are stored in the app's own container on your device. If you use the Apple Watch app, waits recorded there are held on the watch until they are handed to your iPhone, and that handoff happens directly between your two devices.

None of it is transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app removes all of it.

What you can take with you

Settings includes a full JSON export: every wait, every counterparty, with dates in a standard format. It is plain text, readable without this app, and yours to keep. Settings also includes an option to delete everything at once.

Permissions

Moratine requests no permissions. It does not use location, motion, contacts, the microphone, or call information. It does not detect that you are waiting; you tell it, with a tap.

This website

This site collects nothing. There are no analytics, no cookies, and no trackers. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives the request for those font files as a normal part of serving them. Nothing else about your visit is recorded by us.

Children

Moratine is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Since it collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the effective date above changes with it. Any version that claimed less than this one would need a very good reason.
